As these silent moments build, intuition spreads its wings.
Up, open, outward, onward at the pace of life – one moment at a time. The trail is marked by lightness, newness, feelings of space.
Windows to the world where there have only been walls.
‘The Way It Sounded That Day’ is an album recorded and composed in Tokyo, Berlin, and Nebraska between 2010 and 2016.
Cities, nature, cultures, people; all moving together in inexorable techno rhythm.

‘Live at Lounge O (Tokyo, Japan) by moments of truth is out now in digital format on Bandcampand most other major online platforms.
From a kitchen in Tokyo to the Fuji Rock Festival, moments of truth fashioned and presented their own thought-provoking take on electronica – formed from raw sound, raw emotion, and the belief that the dance floor can be a place for exploring some of the most difficult and important topics we face as human beings.
Blake Cunningham guided the narrative with his inspired use of vocal samples, accents, and leads. Conoley Ospovat’s dance textures and grooves provided the vehicle underneath.
Despite numerous rehearsal and live recordings, moments of truth never committed anything to finality in the studio. ‘Live At Lounge O (Tokyo, Japan)’ includes two of their signature songs recorded live on October 15, 2004. This represents the first official moments of truth release.

“Super sweet and smooth stuff. Congrats! Also nice use of sax play. I’m usually quite reserved regarding this as it has been misused in house music so many times….but I really like your approach.”–Jürgen Vonbank (producer)
“Really cool stuff as always!” – John Tejada (producer / performer/ DJ)
“The new record is an accomplished step forward. The integration of live instrumentation with a catchy sense of groove help make it a cohesive set of tunes. Already featured some of the sounds in my sets!” – m50 (DJ / producer)

detailed and full of texture; close my eyes feel and see rivers, skies, and galaxies that are more vivid, epic, and colourful than in reality. everything ends up feeling surreal due to the heavily electronic sound. Images are intense and colourful; rivers turn into living flows of energy, skies turn into dimensional planes, galaxies turn into energy particle clouds, vocals turn into the voices of higher beings, air bubbles in water become energy bubbles in another universe; move in a physics-defying way depending on where the music directs them.
Music is always connected to nature. Takes the listener on a trip away from this very world and into something deeper.
